You can watch it if you click on the video so that it goes to youtube itself.

The photo looks to be from another article on the front page.

But who is in that picture in the Daily Mirror from 1969??

Thanks.

Also there was a clip from an interview with him (in dressing room) at end of 1972 tour. Good stuff.

His verbal mannerisms, (esp in the '69 interview) are SO like Jagger's.

Then there turned up one of him singing Monkey Grip. Worth a look. Female dancers so funny.

Then there showed up TWO clips of Stones doing Drift away. No Live footage. But both versions very different. One much faster. Bill great on both. I think M Taylor is absent on both, (and Keith doing both guitar parts).

Not to be morbid here, but I really don't think it was Brian - the hair was toooo short. And it definately ain't Barbara. I tend to think like someone else mentioned here, it's probably a player at Wimbeldon.

Are you sure? They focus on the picture in that interview. I know they took pics of Brian after he died but this doesnt look like him.

LA Forum: Use the video embed thingamajig. Vids can't show here if you don't use it. It's the film strip that's next to the smiley when you're writing a new post.

She sure did. She beat Billie Jean King. We were allowed to watch it at primary school - probably cos our teacher wanted to!

The national euphoria was a bit like England's world cup win.

Funny how we all thought it was a fella.

Just out of interest - was HT Woman in the charts when Brian died? Later in July perhaps.

The youtube clip has a little bit more than what appeared in 25x5.

It was played on the radio here in the Detroit/Windsor area the night of July 3, 1969. I remeber hearing it for the 1st time just hours after hearing that Brian had died.

"Doctor please, some more men please,
To Cotchford Farm, out by the pool...

What a drag it is they couldn't revive him"

Brian Jones 2/28/42 - 7/2/69
