This is fantastic. Not to change the subject but just wondering - maybe someone has similar pics and articles from the Some Girls tour? I think it's pretty accurate to say that the 1978 tour is the most under-covered tour they've ever done, story wise and picture wise. The fewest pictures of any tour are of that one.
I have the 75-76 tour book with pictures by Annie. Fantastic book. I think it's all from the US dates though. It seems they were at the top of the hype machine for that US tour - without a record except for a greatest hits comp! Maybe the only other tour to generate such interest and hype was Steel Wheels?
Great pictures, fantastic articles here. It's great to read how in one or two articles they were terrible and it sounded terrible and then in another how great they were and how good it sounded. Hilarious!

Mick Taylor and Keith:

Sorry to repeat the photo - but this is such a great shot. Keith with that thousand-yard stare and Mick Taylor looking cooler than he ever did than in the band.
Interesting that he was on sociable terms with them so soon after the split - I (incorrectly) thought there was more acrimony involved.

Are there any good DVD's of Paris in circulation?
