what can you guys tell me about misty roads?.......sounds almost like a faces song what a groove!!!! who wrote it was it a ronnie wood idea? what year was this from.

It was called "Misty Roads" on vinylbootlegs back then, it's now called "The Way She Held Me Tight"
Yes...it's a great tune, wish they'd finished and released it

This is my favorite unreleased Stones tune. It makes you wonder if songwriting credit is a reason some of these great songs remain unreleased. Short of that, it boggles the mind how Mick and Keith released Indian Girl and Down In The Hole but not Misty Roads.
