I saw him tape the Winos PBS studio special in Chicago in 1992 (it's incorrectly called "at ABC Studios" on most boots). Anyway, there was downtime in the show as the cameramen changed reels and set-ups and so on so people in the audience of 180 or so shouted out questions. One fellow asked, "Whaddya drinkin' Keith?" to which he replied, "Nuclear waste. Vodka and TANG. It's so bad even I can't drink much of it, man."
TANG was a powdered orange. flavored drink mix allegedly packed w/ vitamins and nutrients that was popular in the '60s and '70s, here in the States anyway. Sort of the precursor to GatorAde and such.

What I can recommend not to mix is Swedish home-blended or brewed
liqour & COOP Apelsinjuice. That is a true killer of all taste nerves.
