Are the "Guest Performers"(Clapton,Sheryl Crow, Dave Matthews) compensated by the Stones?

Do they rehearse with the band before show time?

I wouldnt know about compensation but it seems like Clapton wouldnt have to practice since they usually do a blue number? And Sheryl usually just sings with Mick on well known songs so dont know about that. I dont think Dave Matthews practices with them since he usually sucks and screws up whatever he plays with them!! IMHO

No. Unless their performances are being officially released of course.

Clips of the guest performers (Jack White, Christina, and Buddy Guy) are in the preview for Shine a Light. I'd guess at least snippets of their numbers are in the film.

It was cause for comment that Amy Winehouse didn't find the time to rehearse beforehand, hence her rather dodgy attempt at the lyrics of Ain't Too Proud To Beg. Paolo Nutini did, and I believe Love In Vain was his choice of song. Thanks, Paolo!

I assumne Jack White and Christina Aquilera were specifically chosen for that show so the movie could be billed as the "Stones with special guests JW and CA" in an attempt to bring in a younger/wider audience. otherwsie i could think of 50 people i would have rather seen that night on stage, starting with the aformentioned Eric Clapton!

They only played Key to the Highway live at that Leicester show and at that Stu memorial gig, and there are no recordings circulating of those shows.
