The general recreational meet-up place before the gig is The Pilot Inn (that ole Stone's fan favourite).

The Pilot Inn, 68 River Way SE 10 OBE.
This pub is a few minutes from the 02 Arena, walking away from the O2, it past the David Beckham Academy, on the opposite side.

Yeah, that's what I was wondering.... there has to be at least ONE PERSON on IORR that's going but it's been silence so far so who knows...... Is there any Zep Fan web site that's leaking the Set List or rehearsal News? As usual with Zep, everything's super tight, the ghost of Peter Grant lives on.....

...well now that SonicDreamer came out of the closet... 15 or 30 minutes on the IORR board report? Come on, we need a man on the inside..... I CANNOT believe the set list and/or rehearsals haven't been leaked.... does anybody know where they're rehearsing? Probably the Page or Plant private spread where ever they are.....

Well, I'll be going, and I don't want to know the set list!

of course not, 16,000 will be there and 6.6 Billion won't so I'd like to know the set list (you don't have to look at it, easy to avoid) - I saw them a million times in the 70's so I'm just curious what they think their vital songs are NOW.. knowing Plant, he's not doing any song he thinks is crap (I think he hates LIVING LOVING MAID for example, one of them doesn't seem too fond of DANCING DAYS and I think it's the same with the song HOUSES OF THE HOLY - totally overlooked - not a bad song in my book, "Are you dizzy when you're stoned....." - well, we liked it in High School, what can I say)

Helter I'm sure it won't be too hard to find a setlist once the show starts tomorrow. Someone will post it pretty quickly if not as it happens. Lord knows there is enough interest and hype about this gig.

You guys should get a "Prefered Customer" discount or some free snack plates or something - I'm 100% serious, let the owner know how much free advertising he's getting....Business is Business....

Wont be at either LZ or Bruce shows there - but I did recommend the place to the crowd from one of the Bruce forums, so hopefully it'll be OK.

Going outside to the front or back garden in the dark in mid December wont be quite as pleasant for them as it was in the late August sunshine for us, though!

Pilot Inn, seems like a mighty fine place to me, with all kinds of friendly, unforgettable characters wandering about.

Sunshine?!!! Oh, must mean the day of O2 #3 show, after I had left.

Looking forward to reading the setlist tomorrow!

I'm here. I took a look at some Zep fan forums and people waited 2-3 hours to get their tickets. I am going to the arena in a couple of hours to get my ticket, but am debating whether to line up all day or come back to my hotel and get some sleep. I love Led Zeppelin, but am getting too old for this . . . .

Interesting story drbryant, I can relate. I was due to visit relatives in Europe in the summer of 1979 so guess what event I planned my visit around.... Zep at Knebworth in August I believe (figured I'd find one ticket somewhere) so I get there the night before the day of the show, check into my cheap but cozy hotel, and toss and turn all night (had not yet discovered the magic of sleeping pills - over the counter or prescription). Next day as morning marches on my ass starts dragging big time. By the time I must leave the hotel for the train/bus I decide to skip the concert and sleep all day (I was on Los Angeles time and SO jet lagged). Did just that (and also slept half the night) next day am on the tube and see a guy with a Knebworth program booklet. Ask him how the concert was and after he says something like "Magical" we talk for about 10 more minutes and I tell him "well, should have gone to Knebworth - couple strong cups of coffee would have helped - but I'm sure I 'll catch their next US tour".... Yep, we know what happened there....... ALWAYS go when you have a chance to, never know what's gonna happen....

Oh, I fully intend to go. I plan to pick up my ticket/wristband this morning. The only question is whether to stand in line to get a good place on the floor (there are no individual seats on the floor for this one), or sleep and go when the show starts. Still debating.

Knebworth 79. . . . wow.

If they can get into the groove they had on Whole Lotta Love, Knebworth -79, I congratulate the crowd...
