i agree. I saw her at THE LONGHORN BALLROOM in Dallas 1978. I think there were only about 200-300 people show up and the stage was only a couple of feet elevated. remember this was a "shitkicker" bar who for some reason on the late 70s brought in punk acts(like the SEXPISTOLS). We stood right in front of the stage not more than 3 or 4 feet from her! The mgt. didnt know what to think!!!

Anyone remembers Elkie Brooks? I know she is still around and going strong but I saw her several times with Vinegar Joe in the 70s. Great band and Elkie was hot hot hot. By the way the late Robert Palmer was also in this band.
