Munich '73: Possible D&C f...up?

A friend did recently send me a copy of the D&C release 'Munich at Least'. He brought it to my attention that it seemed somewhat odd that Mick says 'Goodnight' after the first show, and 'auf Wiedersehen'(= 'see you again') after the second one.

Wouldn't it be natural to assume Mick would say 'auf Widersehen' after the first show and 'Goodnight' after the second?

I know it's not much, but is it possible that the one listed as the second show actually is the first?

Yes it's strange with those comments,
still - it's easy to recognize the performance of disc 2, as the 2nd show;
since Brown Sugar and incomplete versions of GimmeShelter & StreetFightingMan from that concert was aired on TV in 1976 - and exists in great soundquality.
Or one can compare with the Digger Productions release of the 2nd show - from 1992.
So the DAC info is correct - unless every infosource is wrong, which I doubt.

Depends on where Mick's head was at. And I'd bet it was more likely he went to sleep after the first show and would be staying up after the second!

Yeah I'm sure Mick says whatever pops into his head in the heat of the moment. Alot of times he'll say "see you next year" at the end of gigs but we all know it's usually another three years or more. I'm sure "good night", "see you next year", "see you soon", etc.. are all things that Mick might randomly say at the end of a gig.

How about "This is our last concert....EVER!" Jagger in Honolulu 1966, LOL

Hello!
Not only does Jagger say "Goodnight" after the first show, so does the German announcer, but there's a cut before he comes on!

On what source can the TV performances be found? (For research purposes into the current question, of course.)

In German "Auf Wiedersehen" is used very often, and it doesn't necessarily mean that you're referring to a meeting that will soon take place. Talking about its meaning and use it's more like "Goodbye" really than "See you again".
For example if you have some business meeting with some japanese guy you will also say "Auf Wiedersehen" when he flies back to Japan although maybe you'll never see him again.
