I have read several posts on this board that make reference to the Handsome Girls collection from the '78 tour. I have done some research via Google.

How does one go about grabbing a copy of this?

Pardon my naivete. I'm not skilled in such areas.

If you prefer to get the original TSP version (the last ever real TSP release BTW):

[cgi.ebay.de]

A fair price I would say and I'm not the seller.

Beware,

This is not the genuine TSP, but a crappy copy.
The original TSP comes in a vinyle size box, and is labeled Swingin'Pig... this one is Devil Production and in a 4CD crystal box. Nothing to do.
Beside that, this boot is really a must have in original.
Good luck to find it.

Of course you're right mitch, sorry. I did not read the offer carefully enough.

The Dandelion box - which I have, contains 4 1978 SBD tracks which Swingin Pig forgot about....2 from Houston and 2 from Lexington. It also pops up at ebay from time to time.

There is also a deluxe version on gold disc's. Not cd-r's, but actual gold cd's like a Mobile Fidelity releases.

You will have to pay quite a bit of cash for an original Swinging Pig copy, and I don't advise getting a cdr copy.............probably won't play after a couple of years as I found to my cost when I went to copy some early stuff for a friend...

Forget that "gotta have the original" shit. Unless you're a completist collector, the 4-CD set (available from many here, including myself) works just great. A fantastic collection from the 1978 tour.

Highlights include "Hound Dog", a wonderful version (a couple really) of "Imagination", "Far Away Eyes", the best "Miss You", and the rarely heard "Lies". Good, punky stuff. If ya need it, e-mail me:

sbking@wildblue.met

I'm slow, but sho'.
