Presume you mean the 'thermographic' one (as in the type of photography used for the album cover)

They did a similar one for a 'Where the Boys Go' promo as well.

I knew that. Why the hell did I type Deptford?
That's the kind of slip that loses you valuable points in Quizzes!

Like that one, although that part is vile. Also, in the end, when he turns around and does that pointing fingers in the air. What is this? Studio 54?

Silver Train rocks!! It's pure glam rock that video is good (it is also an underrated song). Mick jagger is hilarious in that one. I guess he was young enough to pull that type of gay shit and get away with it. But it is entertaining to watch. In the recent videos, the silliness is gone and the seriousness that replaces it bores the shit out of me.
Rock and roll,
Mops

Best for me is "Waiting On A Friend"...

Part of the reason is because I WAS THERE, by luck!

Having worked on a compilation DVD for a friend and seen around 30 of the groups videos I'd say my least favourite was Hang Fire. It's not a great song to start with and the video for it is just dull, dull, dull!
My favourite has to be IORR as it's an absolute classic although the one for Child Of The Moon is a close second.

I think the thing with guys wearing make-up is for it to look cool you have to look tough enough to contrast the girliness of the drag. Mick was always way to effeminate for it ever to look cool on him whereas Keith looked pretty darn cool with eyeliner. I think the silliest thing I've seen a Stone wear though is the aforementioned moustache of Ron Wood.

Start Me Up was pretty ropey.

I don't really share the enthusiasm for the "IORR" bubbles video. The one thing it has going for it is that it's memorable. Even non-stones fans mention having seen it. But what's actually cool about it?. My guess is that it's a genuine event happening before the cameras--the bubbles really are filling the area. But the idea seems half-assed to me... and why sailor suits?

Cheer you, CC.
I think IORR is a great little video because there's good sponteanous interaction in it, it was filmed on the spot - no big overdubs, the sailor suits suit them well.
they look cool as hell.
cheap and efficent in production - the song comes accross.

The fact that its genuinely very funny

The sailor suits suit the suds.
Mostly, the reason is to be funny and
for them to be aware of the song's title: iorr.

Harlem Shuffle / One Hit To The Body is their worst

Far Away Eyes / JJF (black&white) / silver train are their best ones

The One Hit...video is great. Especially when you know the background to it. They couldn´t stand each other in those days and I think the video is a good document from that era.

I know the background of that era.....an uninspired Jagger just finished 'she's the boss' and Keef hates that because he wants to go on tour with his own band...and he kinda 'hits' Mick with his guitar....and they play/fool around..

But I don't like the song, I don't like the way they are dressed, I don;t like their haircuts at the time..........I don't like that 'industrial' studio setting

I agree-Start Me Up has to be in the top two. Mick looks looks like he just smelled a fart!

>> why sailor suits? <<

the way i've heard it is: they didn't want to wreck their own clothes with bubbles,
and sailor suits were the most fool thing they could get five of fast.

>> My guess is that it's a genuine event happening before the cameras -
the bubbles really are filling the area. <<

you got it, cc! and Charlie really is being overcome by bubbles - so much for the choreography!
and they're all laughing - ain't that a joy?! reality video at its finest :E
plus which, that rendition of the number is hot -
oh and: Keith's tooth is nearing the apogee of its out-of-body experience

The first sight of Keith in the video would suggest that he's the 'donor' and he's looking around to see if he can blame someone else....
