Hank Thompson Dies At 82

just wanted to pass along Hank Thompson dies at his home in Keller,tx. 10:45 tues. night from lung cancer. He played his last concert in hometown Waco Oct.8. he had 29 songs in top ten 1948-75 including "Six Pack To Go", "Humpty Dumpty Heart"and "Wild Side Of Life". last song covered by Rod Stewart. After losing Porter Waggoner last week, country music takes another hit. Lets all just hope our Stones will have another decade or more in them like these guys.

Always loved Hank Thompson especially Six Pack to Go. And my wife was once seated by him on American Airlines and he was quite a gentleman and willing to talk the flight away about music! That's nice.
