We all know he's been in the LSE, but what did he actually study.
Political Science ? National Economics ?
I'm just guessing from what he says in interviews on occassion.

One of the recent biographies on Jagger mentioned Politics, I think, although I'd need to check. Maybe someone else has that info handy.

There's a tendency amongst a lot of journalists and commentators when pontificating about the Stones' wealth/greed etc to throw in the 'Mick studied at the LSE, you know' angle to back up an opinion on how business obsessed he has apparently been from an early age, (the full name of the college is "The London School of Economics and Political Science" but its not just limited to those two subjects.

Interesting background on the college on Wikipedia - [en.wikipedia.org]

Alumni include JFK, Queen Margrethe II of Denmark, Romano Prodi, Pierre Trudeau (nice little Stones connection there), Cherie Blair, James Bond (!!) and er.. Monica Lewinsky...

Chris Salewicz book, Mick & Keith: "He[Mick] didn't fare especially brilliantly in the first year exams that formed Part One of the finals for his BSc. In all three main subjects (Economics, British Government and Economic History) and in each of the two subsidiaries (Political History and English Legal Institutions) he received an undistinguished C grade."

That's impressive, I'm in the same league as Jagger.
Political science, national economics, law and philosophy.

Me too, I'm student in political science and later, I try to study national economics. But not because of Jagger did that...
