Just chase him away from the food & the table.
Feed him regularly.

I have two cats for the moment; one is 2½, the other about 12 weeks.

>>and should i put my old rolling stones bootlegs away??<<

yes, I think you should keep the vinyl safe, away from them paws.

my cat ruined all my vinyl covers - but I loved her never the less.

Yes, you better find a good place to store your bootlegs, Rooster. Those kittens sure can climb in shelves, so you need some kind of closet for them.
And make sure that the closet doesn't contain those mices !

Congratulations, Rooster!

Shopping List:

Kitty-proof plastic boxes for bootlegs

Scratching post

Catnip (rub onto post so they will use it... and save some so they can join you when you have a beer)

Catnip mouses (they will play with them, and also be delighted when you see them in the middle of the night and scream!)

Paper towels - for hairballs, half-eaten mice, urps, etc... Especially helpful when you step in something...

Brush - which won't help with the hairballs, but most cats love it.

Toys to chase, so they will leave you alone for a few minutes. Maybe.

Lint rollers. You will start by using them to take cat hair off your clothes or furniture, but it is a short trip to the day you just start using them on the cats.

Cat bed - so that when they sleep on the couch, chair, your bed, table, counter or bathtub, you will be able to say "You have your own bed!" which will make absolutely no difference, but will make you feel better.

Peacock feather. Supposed to make a good cat toy, but if the cats don't like it, it will keep you amused ...

And now that you are a cat person, prepare for the deluge of cute YouTube cat clips! All together now.... Awwwwwwww....

(What are you going to name them? You may not want to say - it could lead to more arguments than the Set List threads...)

Try clapping your hands loudly when he gets up on the table or near your food. You can also get a spray bottle and fill it with tap water. Keep it nearby and again, when he approaches your food or the table squirt him. He won't like it, but it obviously will not harm him, and it will teach him to avoid your meals. Nothing cruel in either of these approaches. They are widly accepted and they work.

I found the site listed in PC Magazine. Only scrolled through the first couple of pages, but it looks to be a site dedicated to funny cat pics.
Still haven't figured out where the name comes from, though.
