Can you help me in two things.First does it need any capo and second is it in standar tuning?

Capo on the second fret. Standard tuning in the key of E

The E chord is played (with hammer on and pull off variations on both the 1st and 3rd strings) as a D shape at the first position.

Capo at 2nd fret...

2:-3
3:-2
4:-0
5:-x
6:-x

You need the capo on the 2nd fret in that case.

No, they play it in the same key, Keith just doesn't play it all like the record. Nothing unusual there.

Ah, apparently there *is* a Mac version, (http://www.guitar-pro.com). But the demo won't run on my system, it says the demo time has expired

i thought he plays it in open g?.. at least thats how i play it and reckon it is close?..
