They are disgusting creeps making those comments. Those guys are protecting their right to say that crap but they have the audacity to say the USA soldiers are killing mothers and sisters. Let them move to Iraq.

I have a few close american friends, who are in my view educated and enlightned. beacause of this i wonder how the feck Bush and other american govts have continued with such foreigen poicys and get away with it, this thread and the recent one on soringsteen goes some way to explaing it. Everyone has a right to say what they want. David Crosby, Dixie Chicks, Ted Nugent, etc. While certain comments might make my skin crawl and I say, "just stick to music", they have that right and are taking advantage of a forum they have open to them. We, the fans on the other hand, have the option of NOT supporting these artists financially.

Come on luke, I think we all (or most agree) if you do the crime you do the time. I don't disagree. But please don't generalize (and I am not saying you do)
by putting all soldiers in that catagory. Many of those arrested were uneducated skapegoats acting on orders of higher-ups.

With about the same realistic chance of winning - none.

That said, something had/has to be done about terrorism. I don't know the answer. The world is in a helluva mess.

I acknowledge that these murderers are certainly in the very small minority. Of course I have respect for our soldiers in general. Perhaps I was being too nit picky when I corrected aslec's comment about the soldiers not being murderers. The truth is that some of them are.

I think the song "The Universal Soldier" is relavent to this thread.
