Bo's female guitarists:

Norma Jean Wofford aka "The Duchess"

Peggy Jones aka "Lady Bo"
(I posted that pic in the other thread before but I think it's better placed here)

Second set in the on going series of unreleased Hank Williams radio shows
from the early 50's .... Once again a stunning 3 CD set from country music's greatest voice .....
Discs are divided into Hits with Hank running through
his popular stuff... Cold Cold Heart only days after being recorded ...The vocal
choking twists of Long Gone Lonesome Blues and the rockin' Move It On Over...

Second disc concentrates on the church harmony styles that a young Hank
woulda grew up on .. So far back in the woods ya can taste the chaff ....
Hanks band the Drifting Cowboys provide spititual harmonies all the way
through gems like I Am Bound For The Promised Land ...A cover of Hanks first
1949 recording Calling Me ....And Beautiful Home with Hank mentioning his
back/spinal problem before standing & taking the mike.............Amazing Stuff

3rd disc comes from his Luke The Drifter material ... Gospel style talking blues
.... the righteous stuff like Deck Of Cards ... I've Just Told Mama Goodbye..

This time due to public request each disc contains one complete recording
of the Mother's Best Radio Shows with Hank...between song chatting ..
An intrumental from the band and the Mother's Best radio advertisments ........

Great liner notes once again from Colin Escott --- ESSENTIAL - A slice of history .....

HANK WILLIAMS - REVEALED - THE UNRELEASED RECORDINGS - TIME/LIFE 24922-D

Honourable mention for My Sweet Love Ain't Around from Disc 2 ...
Originally cut back in '47 ... Hank vocals and da band pour it onta da heart-strings...
Poor ole Dylan must shudder when he hears Hank's pure country vocals like this................CLASSIC STUFF........
