StrawberriesBlueberriesCan you give me the page numbers for this article? You cut them off, it seems.
I think this is the best article I've read about Mick Taylor. It's good to read his own assessment about his character during his tenure with the Stones, instead of the usual journalistic spin or heresay. He was very candid. If he didn't get so deep into drugs, he would have lived the life he was destined to live..with that talent, definitely. It's too bad he didn't get the help he needed but, in the seventies, you really didn't have too much choice. He really went into a tailspin. Some if the things I read in Jack Bruce's new biography were very disturbing, and I was truly shocked at just how many artists were into heroin during that time. What a waste. Keeping my fingers crossed that MT has plenty of time left in his golden years to make good music with the Rolling Stones and in his own right; 'coz it ain't over 'til it's over.
