dunno;
figger if they promoted memo very heavily, don't tear me up (great live video already available for promotion on youtube from snl performance where he was dynamite) and the majestically pristine evening gown; they'd be leading with stuff that imho really shows a high degree of engaging artistry and delivery, and sensitivity...the theatrics of 'dont tear me up' performance are cool; way wild for any normal rock star, but pretty intensely reserved for mick...
at least these are the things that stand right out as truly important in this collection; other than one-offs and well produced attempts at sounding like a spirited, but relatively souless rolling stones; that keith cat ane charles perhaps needed, tho jordan and satriani or whomever on 'don't tear me up' and cooder et. al on memo and whoever fine players are accompanying him on evening gown are fantastic.
so sorry i dunno if it's gonna go; i think the cheesiest stuff is kinda getting more promoted because of big star collaborations or things previously unreleased, and they are kinda, promo-wise, missing the real emphatic earth shaking power and also the sensitivity of the guy. evening gown is one of the beset things i've ever heard a pop singer do. some smart country star should get a hold of that one.
and stone-relics, hawwwwww...lol dude
