My personal favorite is from Sydney 2/26/73.

I think that it's unfortunate that the Perth 2-24-'73 soundboard is missing YCAGWYW along with Love In Vain,Sweet Virginia,Rip This Joint,Jumping Jack Flash, and Street Fighting Man.The version of YCAGWYW from Sydney 2-26-'73 or the other tracks from that show don't match the sound clarity of the available material from Perth 2-24-'73.

That's true for the most part but I think the version of YCAGWYW (from Sydney 2/26/73) found on the Rocks Off bootleg of the Perth show sounds pretty good. The sound is fairly consistant with the rest of the Perth material, or at least that's how I remember it.

I have a couple of other boots from the Sydney 2/26/73 show and neither one of them sound as good as Rocks Off, although Rock and Roll Stew isn't bad. That Sydney show sure is a hell of a performance though.

<Yes, it's such a shame that they released that Paris version of YCAGWYW, it's even slaughtered - they edited the song with 4-5 minutes.>

And some people think Taylor over played! Good grief! I think Taylor's longest live solo with the band was on one of my fav YCAGWYWs, i.e., Wembley 9/8/73, 1st. No sax solo. It's all Taylor with Jagger's whole hearted approval.

There are three versions of that show from the same source: Belladonna On A Toussaint Night; Timeless '73; and a recent complete (GS is complete) version. A very nice recording of a superb performance, especially the YCAGWYW.

As far as I know, there is no Perth '73 YCAGWYW in circulation - at least not in the soundboard quality of the rest of the show. The version from all those cds is actually the Sydney 2-26-'73 version.

It was defenetly better back in the 70s early 80s, but Im very pleased with the ABB version. to me its sounds better than it has on recent tours.

I always love this song. Favorite was probably the first time I saw the Stones because it was all so fantastic....last year at Zilker park was really quite fun...Mick was all over the place...a great sing-a-long.

So,you don't agree with Turd On The Run's take on that version from Paris '76?Brussels '73 and L.A. '75 both, among many others, blow that version away in my opinion.

I have a collection of Ronnie's performances from LA July 75 -- each night was different, but on July 13 he was magnificent. That's the one. Mick T could never ever touch the emotional transcendence that Ronnie achieved on this night. I doubt that Ron could ever do it again, either.

Oh yes it's terrific, but it definately not as good as July 10th. July 10th is absolutely 100% tremendous. You should check out that one..

I like the Flashpoint version - recorded in Jacksonville, Florida, 1989. I was there. Can't you hear me in the background?

Only for a difference to the usual routine: Bring back Saint Of Me as a sing-along and play it as a rock tune just like on RnR Circus.
