Anybody still have those 3D glasses from '90?

Looking through my Stones scrapbook, which is mostly ticket stubs, newspaper reviews, etc., I came across the 3D glasses from 1990.

They were used during the FOX TV broadcast of the Steel Wheels concert from Atlantic City, shown on 5/30/90. I understand the 3D footage was shot in Japan.

The glasses are blue and orange, tongue logos all over it, and are labeled "Created by GERALD MARKS, New York City" on the inside.

Not the kind of thing that I would imagine are worth much more than a dollar or two now, but I was curious if anyone else kept their glasses from that broadcast?

Cheers.

Yeah, I remember that during the original Pay Per View, Matt Clifford really botched the French Horn line on YCAGWYW, but it came across clear as a bell on the FOX re-broadcast.

Ahhhhh, overdubbing, the musician's friend!

Hey Mongoose, I remember that too! I still have the glasses around somewhere. In Canada, the concert was broadcast on MuchMusic, our equivalent of MTV.

I've got my Stones 3D glasses from the Pay Per View...somewhere.

Didn't they just get used for one song--2,000 Light Years From Home?

Also (somewhere) are a pair of Neil Young Rust-o-Vision glasses that I got during the theatrical run of Rust Never Sleeps in Westwood. Worked during the song Sedan Delivery.

Still got 'em and am amazed how great the 3D works on the video taped off of the TV.
