Never knew such a thing existed!

So where do you put your balls to score the most points?

Satisfaction target scores 5000 points and 3 Bonus advance

they used to have one of those at my local bar and I played it a few times, but I wouldn't want one at home. It probably would only gather dust.

What about the thread title? does "flipper" make any sense to american or english people?
should be Pinball, right?

I like learning new slang. Didn't know what to expect, though, when I first saw the thread. I kind of envisioned a pic of Mick or Keith flipping the finger a la Johnny Cash.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland has one on display that supposedly belonged to Keith.

Back to 1979, well, on your computer of course ! ( not too old and with a good video card)

First, download the 3D program "Future Pinball"

On the same page you can find a test pinball for FB.

Install the program.

Now you have to find the pinball for the FB program
Search "Rolling Stones" on this site and follow the link : (dozens of pinballs from Bally or Gottlieb are available here)

[fprelease.free.fr]

After the download you'll have a ZIP file.
Extract the content ( "rolling stones.fpt" ) in the "tables" file of the FB program ( C:\Program Files\Future Pinball\Tables ).

Launch Future Pinball.
Click on File, then Table Launcher and choose Rolling Stones ("load and play table").
Wait few seconds...

How to play :

Have Fun winking smiley

Wow, great thread! I have 4 pinball/flipper machines in my garage I play, break and fix repeatedly. Nothing a little solder and some pliers can't fix though...

This Bally machine was a limited prototype release, that's why one in great condition is so expensive.

I almost bought one in need of repair for refurbishing once....perhaps someday I will.
It's a fun hobby though!

I've got one for about 5 years now. Got it from the Stones office in the Netherlands, it works very well. The pinball is standing in my livingroom, from time to time I have a competition with some friends. Anyway, my family is not allowed to touch it unless I'm with them. About 5.000 were produced by Bally in the 80's, it's certainly one of the Stones' largest memorabilia. I love it.

No need to be sorry for that - we actually learned
that folks from Argentina, France and Germany call a pinball flipper.

Might be wrong but I don't think so Edith...flippers are the pads that hit the ball on any pinball machine. Of course activated by the buttons you touch on the sides.
