Here a shot I did of Aerosmith after a show in 1990. Steven told me a fan gave him the airbrushed shirt.

The shirt has Keith's signature on it. I know he met Keith, but not sure if he showed him the shirt to sign or the artist airbrushed the sig on it, I remember Steven telling me that meeting Keith was one of the more humbling moments he's had meeting someone.

If you read Aerosmith's autobiography, Steven tells the story how when he was very young (before he was in a band) met Mick Jagger and got an autograph while he waited outside a hotel. There is a picture of it too in the book.

It'd be tough to carry on a conversation with someone wearing that shirt! Thanks for the pic - very cool.

funny that-i was in a pharmacy in midtown manhattan in '99 and saw this tattily dressed emaciated rockstar looking guy from behind. I thought "oh my it's keith" then he turned around and it was steven tyler, mild dissapointment but he's a cool cat too...

Steven Tyler also entered (& won) Mick Jagger look-a-like
contests when he was a kid. I think I learned that on
VH-1's "Behind The Music" (Aerosmith).

I like Aerosmith quite a bit. Some good music & clever lyrics.
Good sense of humor.....Steven Tyler is an excellent performer.

Remember in 1989 when the Stones announced their Steel Wheels tour....the press
asked if Aerosmith might be one of their opening acts......basically
Mick said "why would we have another band just like us?" (not an exact quote)
