i like biana because she was an activist. it wasn't all about fashion and other meaningless crap. maybe some of her influence is behind mick's darfur contribution?

Common law marriage is not recognized in England. Thus, Marlon and Dandilion are bastards. So are all of Mick's children (his Bali "marriage" to Hall is not legit.) What a legacy!

for crying in the dust - they've done right by their offspring. what difference does a marriage license make?! this planet needs all the Glimmer Genes it can get. keep 'em coming, i say!

THere's a similiar photo, from the very same afternoon where she's happily eating - so she did find the frying pan in the end. Unkless she's eating the ashes... That meal-photo is in Phillip Norman's Rolling Stones book, among others.
Philip is a great friend of mine and his new book on John Lennon is out soon. Respect Philip a lot as a person and also for a moving book he did on his childhood on the Isle of Wight. Since he knew John and has impeccable sources I expect this book will be his finest since "Shout!"
Re the frying pan, I wouldn't be surprised if Mick had rustled up something. However, there was generally a servant or helper around in those French exile days.

Yes, dat one - Rockman delivers again! She's wearing a different blouse, so it might not be the same afternoon afterall. Maybe Mick cooked it for her ? Pretty picture.

Would love to hear more about those days and pans....
Haven't read any other of Philip Norman's books, but I see they are worth checking out. The Stones book he did is mostly a photo-book, with the basic story to go along.
isn't that first photo of Bianca in the kitchen from 1975? the Montauk house? it looks just like the kitchen in those Ken Regan shots of Keith cooking there ...

He's Bianca's fried bacon...
Better quality on the pic now, BTW.
