5 full pages on Christopher in today's The Telegraph Magazine (The Daily Telegraph, UK).

Love his music.

About 1990 I went to a small concert with Chris Jagger in my hometown Aarhus Denmark. It was Los budget with nearly no audience in Skolegade . A couple a years later I went to Tønder festival with a CD of Cris atcitca. This CD was gracefully stolen by the Leader of the festival in Tønder and he booked Cris 2 years later. It is very good r&b cujun Music.

I guess Chris and Mick are pretty close and very goog terms with each other, but in one interview Chris said: "We are both not very talented in anything spefically, but the point is getting the most out of oneself..." or something like this.

I mean, Mick is a superstar (Chris is not) and very talented person in several areas: As a songwriter, as a performer (one of the best in the world), as a business man, as a designer (stage designing etc.) and general high IQ.

I have always thought Keith as a musical soul of the Stones and Keith is maybe closer to my heart as a musician but Mick is a very talented person also.

So when Chris said something like that in an interview about himself and his brother, I was a little bit shocked.

A few nuggets :

"I sent Mick a copy of my book when it was pretty much finished and said: 'You better read it because I don't want you to sue me!' There were a couple of little things he wanted me to change, including the quip 'my brother is not very good at recycling… apart from old Rolling Stones' riffs!'"

" If, when I give my surname on checking in anywhere, I'm asked, 'Any relation?', I say, 'Yeah, I'm his brother', and then they say 'You're not!' and I say, 'Alright, I'm not! Who do you want me to be?!'"

Oddly he fails to mention he lived at Stargroves (as per the Mick and Charlie conversation when they went there for the Exile documentary). Also it's not quite clear how he could afford a GBP400,000 house in 2000 after struggling to make ends meet all his life. Did Mick pitch in ?

I guess he loaned the money, like most people do when buying a house. 400,000 pounds is not a luxury home. At least not where I live (Sweden).

Well, it wouldn't be a luxury home in overcrowded, overpriced London; nor anywhere in England, really. However, £400,000 may get you are rather nice a nice 3-4 bedroom, semi-detached in many areas outside our awful capital.

Yeah but that move would have been in the 80s and it's not the house he bought for GBP400,000 that's in Somerset.

didnt realize (or forgot?!) that he wrote a book. Anyone read it? i think im gonna try and pick up a copy.
