Bjornulf, I do hope that we meet one day! I love this board and think you do a spectacular job keeping it in such fine shape. You are living the life we all dream of living, except I would rather be female as I am, not male when encountering our Boys! You know, the chemistry thing! Keep up the great work( and I use the word " work" lightly), although I do realize the effort it takes on your part to maintain this site! We've all had a journey of some sort with the Stones, one that continues to evolve and unfold. What an amazing thing it is to embrace a band the way we all do, so much so that the band members become a sort of family to us. We sure do worry about them as if they were related to us, and in a way they ARE! I always wonder what my life would have been like without this passion and I recognize how much I have gained from the Stones, how many ways they've enriched my life. I would not change one thing( well, there is one thing I would change but that will remain my secret). I pray this lovely ride continues on for a good many years.

P.S. BV, when you do decide to write your book, let me know in case you need a good editor.

Jaz Beach Budva Montenegro was a great place for the Stones.
The entire coast so beautiful. Nice weather. Great beer.
Nice people and a great and well organized show.

It is 42 C degrees in the shade and it is
simply too hot for people to be outside.
But the show must go on and luckiny the
organizer have made sure they have many water posts
inside the venue for the crowd in Budapest.

Louisville Kentucky... Churchill Downs...
...making bets on Kentucky Derby day...
Where they just HAD TO perform Dead Flowers...
And where Alice Cooper was warming up...
And where the weather report failed totally (yes it was raining)...

Budget hotel... not recommended...

Nice by the Louisville riverside:

Bjornulf, do you also have memories from some German gigs?

First some memories from the very day it all started.
May 10 2005. New York City. Press conference.
Four pictures I took myself.
First one taken in the morning.
I remember booking my Moncton hotel this morning.
Also talking to a radio station in Moncton.
Then later on the day I took the other three pictures.
Michael Cohl announcing the tour.
Then the Stones performing three songs "upstairs" on the balcony.
Then they did the press conference in front of us.
I had a nice and close up view. Most of the press behind me.
The pictures are all taken with my little portable camera.

I enjoyed it so much to meet you in person in Frankfurt.

Best way to prepare for a show.
You need a beer, energy (ice cream) and a coffee.
Düsseldorf of course. Alt bier. Just love it!

Then on to Hamburg!

They are coming!

Hamburg and Düsseldorf are great places for Rolling Stones shows. Nice stadiums, especially in Hamburg with excellent sound.

May I add some personal memories...
It's a long hot summer, 2007, July 16th in the evening.
In a small park in front of the Bucharest Atheneum, very close to a well known hotel.
Fans, TV crews, a beautiful evening.
Under the trees, sittin' on a fence, a very relaxed gentleman looking very much as Mr. BV himself.
Wish I would say hello, good evening but didn't want to disturb a very peaceful moment.
Summer's almost gone...
