Toomuchforme, I think you're right about Mick poking fun at the encounter with Britney! How could anyone think he'd be showing off meeting HER?? As for showing off his social status...NOT! It is just a small part of his life, thus a very quite series of images. Great, you all do not like all of the videos and tunes, but in a compilation, isn't that always true? And as for you, Roadster, you really did miss the point so I'll not try to explain. I will say that at the age of 63, Mick does not have to be as conscious of making the " top ten" on anyone's chart! That was my point. He has a bulk of material that he wanted to sift through and put out a collection; I do wish he'd left out a few and put in others but I accept that it was his choice and I'll enjoy it anyway. And Roadster, if you want it FREE, I'm sure Mick would oblige.

That sucked so hard... Does Mick like to be laughed at or something?

I like it. Enjoyed the collection of clips. Wish they had thrown in more. No problem with the song either. It wasn't a classic Rock Jam, but I enjoyed it still.

Oh, mc it's seems so easy to get you up the wall.

But anyway the song is great. One his finest releases. And I love the lyrics, they are so diversified and full of meaning.

The video is great too.

No big deal, I can reveal the story behind the video!

The story is that Mick got drunk one night after the show and challenged Keith and Ronnie to a game of snooker backstage. The stakes was that the two winners could deside some embarrasing thing for the looser to do and after Mick flat out refused to drop his pants at the next show, Keith and Ronnie had the "new video" made.

What? If anything Mick tries too hard to make a song that appeals to today's popular music and he is trying too hard to make a top ten song. Hence trendy crap like this.

Absolutely right, 64!! Yikes! All the more reason to just enjoy his solo stuff, and appreciate that he is still so creative. And Roadster, I am so not irritated but I do have strong opinions....can you tell? I just don't like cheap shots and alot of the criticism is just plain bogus!

I agree 100%.

Just listened to it again.

The video suffers from the same problem as the song: no effort to deliver anything creative whatsoever. Old tune, remixed. Old footage, blended into an egomaniac visual document.

Another lowpoint in his solo carriere. What a shame, I'm gonna play Wandering Spirit now to convince myself that Jagger actually CAN be really good if he decides to make an effort.

In fact, I will not buy the new Jagger release because of this song - allthough I'd love to have Too Many Cooks in perfect quality.
But I can't support an album that contains a song like Charmed Life

I'll come crawling out of my shell and admit I quite like it. Nothing classic but quite listenable. Don't have a problem with the video either. Time to retreat!

No need to retreat, rebel! Why should you feel awkward saying you like it? Do not be brow-beaten or bullied here! It's a tactic that doesn't work, although some try. Remember, no one can come through the computer at you, YUCK YUCK!

I usually stand up for these guys but the song and the video suck in every way.The bad is that video reminds some of the old crap he has done along with some great music.

here we go again. usual Jagger bashing. people pissing all over themselves while listening to Stones songs like Sex Drive or Rain Falls Down because Keith, Ronnie and Charlie are playing on them bash a similar Jagger solo tune just because its Jagger solo. I like it, and I like it better than SD and RFD.

Well, the beat is catchy with interesting video editing - but the lyrics! Written in 4 min, the length of the song? I like all his solo stuff, even Goddess, but is this seems bit of an ego trip, from the famous friends, the French chateau, planes, premiers. No shots of being on stage with the Stones. At least we don't see him going to the bank.

Is Mick trying to attract 13 year old girls with this crap?

Who does he think is going to play this?

People want smart blues/rock from Mick + the Stones. When is he going to get this through his head and stop trying to get airplay on MTV?

Mick, go get a real producer and cut a great blues/rocker with the Stones.
