I have been told by the producer that it will be an interview on Blondie's entire career and that it will be available as podcast later. Hence it will be available online.

One gig will be in or near Stuttgart.

Blondie said last week that he'd be playing in the Netherlands and Germany and when I asked him about other places he mentioned only the USA. And he did say the details would be appearing on his website.

So this guy worked with the Beach Boys...and not during a dreative period like Pet Sounds?

The fact that the Stones somehow need a backup singer/backup guitarist with a lightweight past is a disappointment. Everytime I see him playing off to the side I have to wonder how far Keith has slipped that they need a 3rd guitar on a song.

The BEACH BOYS were hardly even on 'Pet Sounds' either. It was pretty close to a Brian solo album.

Blondie is rumoured to jam with supportingband Undercover for some Stonestunes. Blondie joined Undercover onstage earlier this year in Nijmegen, Holland.

His album Between Us is really worth a listen. Don't underestimate his talent as a singer/songwriter.

OK, he may be talented. I can't distinguish his vocals live. I'm just not sure WHY he's in the Stones? When did they start needing an extra guitarist? When did the band get to the point that Ronnie, Keith, Darryl, Chuck, Charlie, a horn section, 2 backing vocalists and occasonally Mick on guitar couldn't provide a full live sound? (By the way I like Mick's live guitar playing...esp on Rain Come Down and Back Of My Hand).

The band sounded great when it was a 6 piece with Mick, Keith, Bill, Charlie, Stew and Taylor (and/or Ronnie). The occasional horn player worked ok too.

I'd love to see them return to the smaller line-up, and not rely on extras to fill the voids in their live sound.
