Maybe for once I'll be the first person to post something. Prince played a full version of HTW, but with vocals by one of the women. He did it during a segment in which he has people on stage; the entire audience seemed to know the chorous. Pretty good, slightly funked up version, with Prince really working the guitar. But it made me realize that Charlie really makes this song a Stones song night after night. It's amazing how a drum pattern can make all the difference. But, it was kind of nice -- clearly paying some respect to the boys.

Now that would be some cool kind of a guest starring - but please not HTW... ...and certainly not the long and anaconda winding, whincing whineing bloody road...yuck!
Maybe Prince could be a surprise additional opening act. Doing that would show how far he much he has accomplished in the 26 years since he opened for the Stones in Los Angeles and was met with a hostile reaction by many in the audience.
Prince and the full NPG band covered Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin) as an extended jam, at the Aftershow on Saturday, 18 August, I know coz I was there.
