I`m just 20 years old, so my ears are probably still very resillient. I like it, if the music during concerts is very loud but it should be on a healthy level. My seat tonight (2.London-show) was in BK 402 (upper tier, directly at the side of the stage), where the sound was EXTREMELY loud.
Anyway, the band showed us once more, that they are still ruling the world of rock!!!

I was in A1 and I wondered if it was just me. Yes, very loud tonight but not too loud! I confess my ears are still ringing but they'll be fine tomorrow. However, you must have been right by the hanging speakers so I guess it was louder still for you.

thats not good for your hearing and it's no joy when it hurts.

it's adviseable to always have ear-plugs with you.

Yes it was VERY LOUD tonight. My ears are ringing and normally that doesn't happen with the Stones.

Sound was very clear tonight too - good job boys in the crew.

Nah... I did not have any problems with my ears. The sound level was just perfect. In fact there are lots of bands who play much louder than Da Stones. I went a an ABCD gig, or what ever they call themselfs,a few years back and then my ears did suffer a lot, but then on an other hand, they do not have much to offer musically so they junk up the wolume just to sound big ya know... But the Stones has always kept the volume on an ok level, so tonight as well.
But then again I have been at loads of gigs the past 30 years so it may be that my ears has been... well you know, when getting old you have heard a lot of shit so to speak

I didn't say it was TOO loud - just that it was loud. I loved the volume tonight, it stunned a few of the "tourists" who picked up a ticket to see the circus!

After the LA Forum show last year, I had ringing in my ears for 2 days.
Indeed, that was the loudest I had ever heard the Stones, and was damn happy about it.

Sound was louder tonight - similar to Las vegas in March 2006, but it was clear and just super. Yes, my ears are still ringing too, but I only have to hear one more show, so lets have another loud great one like tonight! I enjoyed tonight's MR more than any other this tour!

Second that IGTBA. I will be there as well on Sunday

I wonder how this changes so often. Been to many shows where the sound was too low, really! And that's not good for a Stonesgig!!

as I get older, everything becomes softer.
I am 45.
Now I have earplugs with me to protect what

That's quite silly to say and you probably know it.

you don't stare at the sun without eye-protection and say if it's to bright, you're too old.
don't damage one of your senses when you can foresee it.

The sound was on the edge of being too loud at certain times... It occasionally excited the arena acoustics a little too much from where I was located [On the floor near the B stage.]

i was in 402 and i thouht the sound was ok and i'm 29. he problem we had up there was we got the sound from the PA at the front near us then the sound bounced back from the end of the arena at the back so we had a bad echo.

Apart from that all was fine. In block 101 for Sunday so no probs there

They've been playing too loud for several years now. One or two notches down on the volume would make things much better I think.

they were too quiet in nijmegen and paris. people actually had to HEAR me singing along.

BY FAR the loudest gig i ever attended was an everclear show . . .(i know, i know) perhaps i deserved the pain afterwards?

...just trying to beat out THE WHO for loudest rock band....

they were nice and loud in Oalkand. They always get noise complaints when they come to the bay area. I find it endearing.

A bit of advice from Jimmy M ...turn it up. But yes I agree I was there Tuesday and Thursday and last night was really loud. Ears still ringing 24 hours later, can't be good.

Yes, indeed, the sound of a Rolling Stones-show should be loud, but just to this level it starts to hurt. I`m sure that not every block had that loud music as I did and I`m still looking forward to see and hear the Stones on Sunday...maybe, I just had a bad "ear-day" :-)

It can't be too loud for the Stones. I'm sorry.

The louder the better !!!
