This is exciting, reading all these posts. My first show was Seattle 1975. Right up front. I remember being really tired from waiting all day since 0600 at the front of the line. Walked out soaking wet and covered in confetti. My dad picked me up and asked what the hell happened to you? I told him Mick Jagger threw water on me and then confetti. He still thinks I'm crazy, I'm sure. But he's a great dad.
Yes 1970 that was the last tour without fences in front of stage!
You may remember that before the Stones everyone was sitting relaxed on the ground, smoking, etc.like at most gigs in those days!
So during the long break I went to the Foyer(bootleg title!) for some food and just at that moment the Stones came on stage and everyone jumped up! So I had lost my friends and had to stand at the back with sausage in my hand! Later I made my way more upfront. But your view must have been much better!
I remember 2 or 3 girls jumpin on stage but didn't see it that good!
Price: 20,-DM (very expensive than) After the gig there were police with dogs and watercanons outside. Greetings

In 1976, Westfalenhalle Dortmund, Germany, with Billy Preston on keyboard and Olly Brown on percussion. Great funky and medley version of "If you can't Rock Me / Get Off of my Cloud". Ron Wood was an extraordinary lead / rhythm guitarist.
Berlin, Waldbühne 1982. Jagger said: "How many of you were here in 1965?" (of course everybody) "I'm shattered." I was not disappointed but for me it was not that great experience, I still don't like the sound and the setlist of the 1981/82 Tour. But I'm a fan since the mid seventies and it was unbelievable to see Mick Jagger and Mr. Keith Richards for the first time alive and real. I saw them in 1990/95/98/2003/2006 and imo soundwise and musically every concert was better than this first one. Nevertheless the first stones concert is a historical moment. 25 years later the boys are still a part of my life.
At Forest Hills Tennis Stadium in Queens, New York City July, 1966. Best song "Stupid Girl". Brian Jones played a Gibson Firebird throught, except a ducilmer for "Lady Jane".
