it had been scorching weather for days leading up to the concert, then it turned nasty a couple of days before the concert, on the night itself it was freezing even for a scottish summer evening.

but it was a great experience and a dream come true.

Yes it was Svendborg. At least live 100 SEK was a lot of money back in 1982...

This year i payed 1140 SEK and 1000 DKK

Wembley Sept 1973. What a great great show. The 72/73 World Tour was the best the Stones ever did. Mick Taylor was on fire and they did incredible vcersions of Gimme Shelter, Midnight Rambler and Rip This Joint.

That was my first Stones-Concert too. Was in front of the stage. Elbows were resting on the edge of the stage. Impossible today.
Do you remember the girl climbing on the stage during Midnight Rambler and snitching Mick's belt after Mick had whipped the stagefloor with the belt and then tossed it in Charly's direction. I had the same idea but she was fast as lightning. Grabbed it and jumped back into the crowd. I still remember Bill's fat grinning. He really was amused. BTW that was the belt Mick wore at the Hyde Park concert and during the 1969 US tour. You can see that belt in the movies "Stones in the Park" and "Gimme Shelter". It's 37 years ago now and I still envy her. I really would like to know if she still owns that belt.
