I wish a lot of people on here were more concerned about the performance of the Stones and not the size of the crowd or the number of empty seats.
Enjoy the music while we can and forget about attendances.

Amen to that,some people seem to be obsessed about empty seats (not that there were many last night of course!).

Personally I have no problems with empty seats but what do you prefer reading: the reviews about Rio or about rotating the stage (Düsseldorf) because of poor sales?
And didn't you like the pictures in Slane? It just saddens some people seeing the stones not selling out stadiums like they used to do.

yeah, the obsession with numbers is pretty silly -
in rome at the stadio olimpico it was way more than half empty (c. 30,000 out of 80,000 seats) but when the stones were on stage, i don't think anyone was counting the empty seats, ha ha, i still thank god every day that someone wasn't stupid enough to cancel the show for poor ticket sales !!
