No way they will stop...they are on a mission to break new ground...it's their lifestyle...their way of life...they don't know anything else...Mick is power hungry...and the only way he can maximize his thirst for power is to be on the road with The Rolling Stones...so long as they can do it...they will...Mick still at 63 outperforms singers half his age...Keith and Ronnie don't run around much anymore...but they don't need to.

Relax Stones fans...this is so not the end of the Rolling Stones.

I'm sure nobody wants them to stop...I don't.
BUT I want them to stop before they decline and become an embarrasment. They might happen in 5 years time, it might happen next year. We don't know and they don't know. It's all to due with age and being able to play the game.
I don't want this band to out in any other way than with a big bang and be remembered for being the greatest rock'n'roll band ever.
And what would really happen if they pack it in, it's not the end of World. We'll still have the records, DVDs, bootlegs, memories...whatever.
Life goes on you know...even without the Stones :-)

RollingStonesFan is the most realistic prediction. My prediction is 18 songs, You Can't Always Get What You Want and the triumpant return of Oh No Not You Again.

Well one thing is for sure, no surprises for the London shows. I have friends back home that were trying to convince to fly to London for the shows saying they are going to pull out surprises and the set lists should be very mixed up for the three shows (they got tickets to all three). Well I am glad I didn't go. Don't mean to be a sour grape but its kind of sad the formula they contantly stick to. Shine A Light was a nice treat but they seem fine phoning in crappy versions of songs like Miss You on a nightly basis. Any fan on this site can fill in the blanks of what song will be played next after the 7th or 8th spot in the set. Why not include Its All Over Now on the b-stage or at least something different than the warhorses. Sometimes I really feel like they have no clue what they are doing when picking songs to play, that or they are just lazy and want to do the same thing cause they know its safe.

J-J-Flash,
More fool you.
Two of the best shows I've seen.
Read the reviews, everybody seems to agree.

I made my 50th in Madrid, so I'm happy about that, but the satisfaction doesn't last. You're always ready for just one more!

I think it's done, but as someone once said, opinions are like a-holes, everybody's got one.

Ok, this can make everyone happy. People always answer people complaining about set lists with comments like "they have to play the hits to please everyone." Well a band like the Stones have had so many hits that they can still mix up the set and please everyone so off the top of my head here are three shows to close the tour, I didn't really complete all the slots but you can get my idea, its not hard to mix it up and I made these based on what they've played this tour..

This would be a great way to close the Bigger Bang tour, 3 sets that will please any kind of fan each night.. not one song played twice..

SHOW 1

Start Me Up
Rough Justice
She’s So Cold
Bitch
Shattered
Rocks Off
Wild Horses
Can’t You Hear Me Knocking
Just My Imagination
Night Time
Learning The Game
Little T&A
Under My Thumb (to the b-stage)
Back Of My Hand
Honky Tonk Women
Get Off My Cloud
Gimme Shelter
Paint It Black

SHOW 2

Jumpin Jack Flash
Oh No Not You Again
She Was Hot
Live With Me
Sway
Angie
All Down The Line
Midnight Rambler
Ain’t Too Proud to Beg
Get Up Stand Up
You Got The Silver
Wanna Hold You
Miss You (to the b-stage)
Ventalator Blues
Respectable
Street Fighting Man
Sympathy for the Devil
Brown Sugar

SHOW 3

Its Only Rock N Roll
Let’s Spend the Night Together
Undercover
Dead Flowers
Let It Bleed
Shine A Light
Love Is Strong
As Tears Go By
Rain Fall Down
You Can’t Always Get What You Want
I’ll Go Crazy
This Place Is Empty
Before They Make Me Run
Beast of Burden (to the b-stage)
Its All Over Now
Some Girls
Out Of Control
Tumblin Dice
Satisfaction

youd think for the last show in London they'd do "I just Want to make love to you". "We used to do this song when we first started out...over in Richmond and that sort of thing"

Yeah it does Stonestod, if I can throw together three different set lists off the top of my head here at work based on what they are playing live these days you'd hope the Stones can do the same since its what they do for a living. I am sure I missed a bunch of songs I could have added as well... Oh well

.... i always found picking thoroughbred horses that will cross the line first/second and third first to be more of a gratifying intellectual and emotional experience with sometimes immeasureable rewards,, than wondering if jumping jack will be the first song played or the simple favorite start me up,, what a long shot set list upset that would be.....
