Hi guys , im 13 , i play guitar whenever i can and i have 2 guitars.
you know , as everyone here , we love the stones , and yes , many boys actually like hip hop and punk , things fo bastards .
im a different guy , i know many , many keith's licks , i play the chuck berry style solos like him , and the music is inside of me everytime , everywhere , and this feeling is superb!!
one day i told my mom i wanna be a rockstar when in a few years , and she said : and what if that never happens? , i said : it will happen and it must happen .
i do my effort everyday and learn songs by myself not with tabs or chords on the internet , my instinct is play everyday , but theres one thing , i live in mexico , and i dont seem to have an opportunity , all people listen to stupid music!!! , reggaeton , pop , electric "music" , this have no sense .
rocknroll is full of emotions , solos , happinness , you know.
who thinks i can be a good guitarist and that anyone can do a gig at msg or la forum someday??

Well, if you keep working at it, you might succeed on one level or another. For example, forming band in 4 or 5 years time, and if you are good, and can write good songs, then you may be able to at least earn some money from it.

As for MSG and the LA Forum, we all need to have dreams and ambitions. Go for it!

So you want to be a rock and roll star? Well, then listen now to what I say. Just get an electric guitar, take some time and learn how to play. And then, with your hair swung right, and your pants too tight, it's gonna be all right.

Then it's time to go downtown where the agent man won't let you down. You sell your soul to the company who are waiting there to sell plastic ware. And, now pay attention closely here 'cause this is the best part, in a week or two if you make the charts the girls'll tear you apart.

But be careful, because if you do hit it big, you may wonder if the price you paid for your riches and fame was all a strange game - that'll drive you a little insane.

Despite the money, the fame, and the public acclaim, don't forget who you are, Bro, you're a rock and roll star.

haha , the kid's my sisters age .
I know how to do the solos , goin around the frets , but i dont know the notes!! , thats odd , you know , a guitar teacgher came home some weeks ago to teach me , i learned the letters of the notes and did some excercises , but he never came again!!
the only thing i learned was hammer-ons and pull-offs , and it functions well with my solos , but for me , learn some songs is too easy , i just have to listen and search for the frets , and then search the places for the solo , not too rough for me.
but ill try to learn the notes stuff again , soon i will post some audio as video is a lot of megas to upload.

Hey man, you sound like Keith when he was starting out. If you got a burning desire then go for it. Don't let anyone or anything; adversity or road blocks (and there will be some) stop you. Make sure though that you are doing it because you love the music first and foremost and not because of the trappings that come with being a "rock star." There are enough posers out there already. Be a musician first, a rock star second. No go forth young man and play, play, play!

Well, good luck with your career - but remember that the Stones did not go into the music business because they wanted to become famous. They just wanted to play the music they loved. They never thought they'd last for a year. And they were very humble. What you say about ****ing up BS intros really shows a lack of empathy, and even though you're only 13, try o take into consideration that Keith has achieved quite a bit in his life. If yiou see the Stones as some kind of role models, it would also be a good idea to learn to be humble... Because they still are. OK?

Oh, yes - and how many shows have you seen this summer?

just one show , because im in mexico , and theres not a lot of bands coming here.
yeah , i wanna play the music i want , but theres not a lot of people who likes rocknroll here , maybe i can go to usa to find a club where to start and get known .
i wanna meet eric clapton , bbking , chuck berry , and many guitarists, because it would be a pleasure to play with them , i just wanna be seen by real rocknrollers as you , i just wanna play and feel as i do when i practice , and someone saying : oh , how great is that guy , i wanna know him!

i dont like it too much , my grandpa use to play it at his house with old compatriots / friends from the 1950's age!
i like the Les Paul design , but ill see how can i play another kinds of guitars.
Jeff Beck is really great with his style , ill be practicing , then ill know my style.
my sister wants to be as Hannah Montanna , LOL! , and she sings in fron t of the tv every day at 6 pm!°! i wont be her guitarist , of course
