It's to rain all day and all soddin' night and last time I was at Slane they still hadn't installed a roof. Very inconsiderate of his Lordship. The Stones and the fans are gonna get wet, wet, wet and then there's the thunder and lightin' they've mentioned in the local TV and radio forecasts as well. Like I said, Ireland is green cause it rains and and dogs on a regular basis. At least 40 times a day, hence 40 shades of green

my biggest worry is that my beer will get watered down by the rain if i don't drink fast enough, and that it'll be blue murder trying to get a cigarette to stay lit...and all you moaning ninnies are worrying about is getting cold...

The trick is, you don't buy and drink beer, you buy and drink Irish whiskey (neat) then you add a dash of pure undiluted Irish rain water, on tap and free. After a half dozen or so, you won't even notice the rain, the cold, the stones...

Getting back up that slippery hill afterwards should be a laugh too, especially when 60,000 other pairs of wet feet will have done so before you
