You went and saw a concert on your wedding night?!

That's awesome, and also quite funny! I assume you took the wife with you?
I have two Brian Wilson shows coming up next month. Can't wait!

As for me, I'm free, to do what I want, any old time...

I'm happily single. Marriage and kids can be a good thing but single is way underrated. It has it's perks. I'm a bit of a free spirit in some ways so I'm not sure if I could ever settle down but I wouldn't rule it out if I met the right person.

Here are some of the perks of being single;

-All my money (which isn't much these days lol) is mine and mine alone. No need to answer to someone when I spend forty bucks on a video game.
-No one nagging at me to take the garbage out- I just let it pile up.
-No need to eat rotten cooking and pretend I like it- I can cook better than most women anyway.
-I get to stare at cute asses all day long without feeling guilty.

Of course married life has it's perks too so to each his own.

Hey Frank...I have all the same perks as you..and I'm happily married.
You gotta find the right one! winking smiley

dated 3 years....got engaged at a '97 Rolling Stones show...double income
no kids...one dog...no nagging....no bad cooking (i cook)...and we both
have a great sense of humor about the other stuff. 9th anniversary
was on Tuesday. Some rough spots...but good times clearly outweigh
the bad ones. Keep the faith!

ps. re: video game purchases - she bought me the new (1980's) guitar hero
disk yesterday. I got it MADE IN THE SHADE.

Sounds like you found yourself a winner SNC- a gal that lets you cook, doesn't nag and lets you play video games lol. BTW happy anniversary. Hope you have many more.

Frank, that is a sound well balanced philosophy. I am 40 and in the same boat with the same attitude, although my cooking is limited though healthy. I have seen the Stones abroad 8 times since '98, something I couldn't have done if married!

Very well put. Maybe the right woman is out there for me but I really can't be arsed to look...
