Great to see at last Stu recognised by his ain' folk! Details as follows:-
The Royal Burgh of Pittenweem

Arts Festival

In the East Neuk of Fife 4th - 12th August 2007

We have a very special program this year, it being our 25th annual anniversary. We are very pleased to welcome Elizabeth Blackadder and John Houston as invited artists. We also have an exhibition dedicated to the memory of Ian Stewart , a co founder of the Rolling Stones. His "other" band Rocket 88 founded by Charlie Watts and Ian Stewart will be playing at Kellie Castle on two days of the Festival. It is not common knowledge that Ian Stewart was born in Pittenweem and still has relatives living here. He had a profound effect on the Stones and in music generally, was loved and highly respected.

There are over 100 artists exhibiting in the village in garages, studios, gardens and anywhere that has wall space. These exhibitions, including the invited artists, are all free to visitors of the Pittenweem Arts Festival.

Thanks Hickorywind. I may travel up from Glasgow for a few days.
