Can't wait to count how many of the IORR geeks show up in those daft t-shirts at the O2 in London. Should beat listening to the support bands.
.....
As a Londoner I have concerns that a plague of those ghastly t shirts will effect the look of our wonderful city.
.....
Since he banned [me] from IORR I have lost my job and become an alcoholic. I just dread the sight of all those IORR t-shirts

I wore mine with pride at Barcelona and will do the same at London (3).

I think they are ace and are a bit of a collectors item. Thanks to everyone involved in the production.

Nobody was banned from getting the IORR shirt. It was available to anyone who did order it during April this year. And it will never be printed again so it is for sure a limited edition anno 2007. Sorry I don't have time to get any more done. There's a tour out there...

Your welcome for the plug schillid. No offense against the RO's. Most of whom are fine. But I got a stick up for our IORR's.........And since I bought 2 T-Shirts. I guess I am a proud geek.

Golly, I didn't realize I wasn't suppose to drink whilst wearing my IORR T-shirt. And NO one ever accused me of being a geek! Guess it's something you're best friends don't tell you.

As for ruining the look of London what about all those tacky souvenir stalls?

Note I am not mentioning the Stones T-shirt stands that will make their appearance at the O2.

Geeks are geeks..If you were a tee shirt, you stand the chance of being a Stones geek. Dont want to be labeled a Stones geek, dont wear a t shirt..if you do....Rock on.

MAYBE I'LL re-work the logo after the tour
AND sell 'em myself on ebay

with the letters G-E-E-K
instead of I-O-R-R

I think it was a very professional, nicely designed shirt/logo.... what's with those people's negative put downs? I'm ONLY on IORR so can someone explain if there's some kinda competition or something going on with the other boards?? I thought everybody got along, don't have a clue about the politics of these boards.......

Re: Those Geeky IORR T Shirts

It came out very well... the logo looks professional and all
And the negative/postive effect with the photos and letters is kind of unique... I just sort of stumbled that idea.

But I don't know if I've just became too close to the design concept or what.

Is it too colorful? So that it just doesn't look tough and Stonesy enough?
And really... shouldn't there have been a tongue on it? I mean really... nobody would've gotten sued if a tongue had been used, i don't think.

i guess it wouldnt be to funny - and you would maybe understand how the stones official mechandise guys feel when copies are sold but - what would you do if some punk was selling IORR t-shirts on a stall outside one of the european gigs?..

i guess the feeling would be remeniscant of buying a new pair of AIR MAX - then stepping in a dog turd in them on their maiden voyage....

I'm still very happy with my long sleeve sweatshirt version, which is probably more exclusive than the t-shirt. Pity I could only put it on after the show in Nijmegen. It was just too hot that day. One minute after I put it on I was immediately recognized as a IORR member by timbernardis who happened to have missed half the show. I still feel sorry for him.

Let it rock!

One person with a bug up his ass because he was kicked off this site is hardly tantamount to 'competition' or 'board politics', lets face it

as I've been a subscriber to IORR since 1983 and have about 15,000 posts on this board, its safe to say theres no competitive aspect. Voodoo and myself are happy to consider the admins of both this site and Shidoobee as personal friends.

All of us are here for the same purpose, after all.

Dont bet against it, schillid. The Stones legal people watch the fan boards pretty regularly and are VERY touchy about that kind of stuff when it comes to copyright.

If youve ever wondered why the tongue logo over on Rocks Off isnt the same as the 'official' one, theres a very valid reason.

The shirts look great, schillid. I hope you print some more up. I'd like one - are there any left?

I think BV did the actual printing of the shirts.

I procrastinated with ordering not knowing there was a deadline, so I was left out as well. I would like to see more shirts become available, but I think BV has mentioned there won't be. sad smiley

well, it sounds like no more shirts will be made available, but if by some chance something changes, I would like one too ! Guess I missed the boat when all of this t-shirt stuff was going on...

I agree completely Gazza. I was a little surprised when I saw schillid dug up one of my rare posts on RO. I had actually forgot about it. But I'm sure you know my intent was not to stir anything up. I post more here just as a matter of comfort. I have no problem with anybody on RO and think it's a great site. I think the picture Voodoo posted of his kids and friends wearing T-Shirts from all 3 major Stones boards was great. That's what it's all about. Were all Stones fans.............. Their are jerks everywhere....................Side note to Schillid. Toughen up man. Youv'e gotten hundreds of good responses and a couple negatives. Even in a Florida election that's a winner.grinning smiley.............So stick around we may need a new shirt for the fifty licks tour.

Schillid, the shirts are great!
Whoever posted that on Rocksoff must be mad and jealous he/she doesn't own one.
I wore my t-shirt proudly at Nijmegen, and was the center of attention
and envy amongst thousands of Dutch Stones fans. smiling smiley

I already bought 2 t-shirts and 2 sweatshirts...and I may want more!

Your right schillid,i wore my iorr shirt to Madrid and i was fortunate enough to get front row on Ronnies side and the boy's were checking it heavily especially Mick, but Mick is the most visable in the shirt, but it was pretty funny having them look at it pretty in depth.

Are you a boy stonesfrk or a
girl stonesfrk?

And when you say "the boys" were checking it out...
Do you mean the boys in the audience?
Do you mean the Stones themselves?
