It's a genius idea. They just might agree to charge less than their normal going rate as it's for hardcore fans only & for the novelty of it. I don't think they'd go for a completely warhorse-free set though as it would involve too much hard work, rehearsing all the rarities just for one show, but they might agree to some IORR suggestions esp. if they were mainly drawn from the large number of titles they rehearsed at the start of the tour.

I suggest London, straight after the final O2 show so it would be like a huge hometown end-of-tour party!

I think this idea is great, but not sure if it is possible. I would love to have a IORR fan club gig, but like others said the logistics may not work out if the stones aren't on tour. $1,000 a ticket is extremely pricey. I could pay that but would set me back significantly. I think sending them a list of songs we'd like to hear and letting them choose from them is better than sending an exact set list. We should just let Mick and Chuck know we don't want an ABB warhorse style setlist. Deep down, I believe Mick and Keith would love to do something like this for all of us hardcore fans. We can only dream...

With the Stones being multimillionaires I don't see the need for us to speculate about ticket prices for an iorr gig.

I'm thrilled by the idea - at the same time I think they themselves very well could easily do something for us, their most ardent fans all over the planet.

This suggestion as you can see is a totally different perspective:
A special iorr gig (or two) at normal ticket prices certainly wouldn't wreck them. Thus they could show us their appreciation and present us an experience of our lifetimes.

Sorry for this maybe a bit naive point of view.
But just like the suggestion for an iorr concert is so spectecular in itself why shouldn' the circumstances of turning this into reality be equally unusual. If they did it for us they should be able to draw a lot of satisfaction from such a gig - isn't this what they actually (should) play for after 45years of making cash?

well..I wasnt referring to that. That was more a case of someone connected with Scorsese's crew also being a member of that site and it came in handy when they wanted what were basically "movie extras" (as I understand it). It was hardly a private gig though when fans were chosen due to age and appearance and most of the seats still went to people who acquired them by other means.

However, various fan sites have tried the 'private gig' request before. I remember the Undercover Digest crowd's overly-optimistic attempt at getting the Stones to do a Bay Area warm up gig just prior to the No security tour. Not a chance in hell.

You dont have to be in the front Row in a Theatre of that size the view from everywhere is very good.

Would love to see them in the Paradiso Adam.
