What does a mega Pop Star Performer do when she starts to fade in the media and people start forgetting who she is and move on to newer music? She gets Mega - Weird. The news has been reporting all morning that this fading Disco Babe had a new rule when the reporters went to interview her at the LIVE EARTH concert in London last week. "You must Continuously STARE into my eyes when asking questions or the interview is over" (in other words, NO READING YOUR NOTES !!) WOW, now if Helter was to interview her he would show her his beautiful middle finger and walk out BUT these poor journalists are suppose to come back with a good interview for their papers and magazines, poor gents and senoritas.... The bigger question is what did the '80's do to music performers? Jacko has TOTALLY lost it, Madonna is on her way, and Eddie (Van Halen) is ...well, no comment besides gone, gone, gone... Only Prince seems to be really holding on with some good current work.... What a strange planet we live on (and on top of all this the Dollar is at an all time low against the Euro - What to do, I guess only thing left is to pass me the Prozac please .......

I think Madge (as we over 'ere refer to her) has always been a "bit" weird, whether it's a case of it all having gone to her head or what I don't know, but she's always deliberately courted controversy shall we say ? Maybe, if we were to give her the benefit of the doubt, this is nothing more than a mechanism she is employing to weed out the journos that are merely "going throught the motions" - as opposed to those that to some degree actually care, that is to say have followed her career, know her material, and so on and so on. I mean think about it, it MUST become a little annoying if you're up there, have been around a good long while, have in all fairness written and performed some great stuff, and then you're being interviewed by a number of distinctly unknowledgeable and not altogether particularly interested journalists. Dunno about you, but it would eventually get on MY nerves.

Anyway, that's being kind. If I were to be UNKIND, I'd say she's just taking yet another of her periodic spaceship cruises to planet "la la" out there somewhere ... !! Who knows, she's ... well she's MADONNA ain't she !!

Otherwise I agree though. The difference between Michael Jackson and Madonna is that, in his days, Michael was the bomb! Madonna however has always been sucked. She`s an arrogant, cheesy, classless whore. But that is exactly what would make screwing her so interesting.

As the quality of her music faded her ego has soared. I live in her home state and she has refused to perform here on the last two tours - apparently because she doesn't want to be humbled by her roots.

Peppers/Beggars Banquet..... and then, she went back to Disco with Ali G. starring in her next video (Music) Nothing against Ali G., he's very funny IMHO.....
