Hi everybody, it' my first post but I've been reading IORR Forum for a long time. I was at the Stadio Olimpico Concert in Rome with my son and a friend but what I want to tell you is that I met Ron Wood the day after the concert ( saturday) in Galleria Borghese Musuem in Villa Borghese. He was there looking at the beautiful paintings ( Caravaggio and many others) with his wife Jo, two friends and a bodyguard. We didn't want to bother him as he was in a private situation. We just followed him during the visit. My son tried to do a picture with the phone but the bodyguard said "No".
We were very pleased to see a rock star in a museum appreciating the paintings.

Hmmm, I think there´s a slight difference between actually meeting someone to just seeing him and following him around.

That must be an exciting moment for you liaba, pitty that your son was not aloud to take a pic

... actually the word "meet" also has the meaning of "to encounter sb/sth",
and in a lot of languages there's really no difference. the post is clear enough, so ...
i'm glad the Woods got to enjoy a fine gallery (almost) unhassled. :E

i kinda doubt the security guard knew who ronnie wood is! well, guess ya never know... but usually in these galleries they forbid people from taking flash photos because the flash is bad for these precious and old masterpieces.

oops, never mind - i read that wrong, you said BODYGUARD not security guard - i guess the bodyguard would know ronnie

i had almost the same experience in Barcelona one day before the show I was visiting the Picasso museum, looking at the paintings. One moment Mr. Wood was in front of me I couldn't say a thing but we shook hands

Mr bodyguard guy didnt like it btw, but it was Ronnie who came to me
