I don't want to know everyones personal finances BUT how can so many people afford to go to see the stones on all or lots of their dates. I run my own business and don't do too badly but I can only afford to see them a couple of times. Is everyone really rich or maybe don't have anything apart from Stones tickets.

I've sold my extremities and all my inner organs on Ebay and invested my earnings in Al-Qaida stocks to keep up with the price of Rolling Stones tickets. Have only one ear and eye left. That's all I need for a Stones concert.

You were involved in "The Great Train Robbery"? Wow, all the time I thought Sean Connery was the one to blame. Well, that's good news. Now he might as well appear in Indiana Jones IV instead of hiding in South America pretending to be Ronald Biggs.
Well good on ya all who are willing to sell body parts and commit felonies to see the stones. I'm not hurting for my next meal, but credit cards or not, I could'nt afford it.........Although if they do tour the states again, all bets are off....In the meantime, anyone who needs money for another show, willing to sell me a liver. I need one after getting back from vacation.
"It's just some friends of mine and they're busting down the door"
Worked my nuts off to afford a good education, got a law degree and sold my soul to ensure I got a job that allows me to do whatever I please (though not when I please!). Seeing the Stones is part of the fruits of my labours as I'm sure it is for many on this board.

Well at least now you don't have to worry about any more kids.........Unless you got an awful powerful right one....But you might need that for another U.S. tour.

Well that's a naive remark - allthough it was a joke...as there are lots of people with a tight budget who are just as a big of a Stones "fan" as you or I. Also: it's not only that people can't afford to buy a ticket: it's also that they don't want to be a part of a "market" for a big business company. I'll be seeing them this year....BTW

It was a complete joke. Didn't mean to offend anyone. Never even meant to imply others aren't as big a Stones fan as I am. Sorry.
My only show on this leg will be the final O2 show. Probably shouldn't spend the money but I can't resist.
I actually play the Stones earn money to go to the Stones. I'm in a coverband that's doing quite well, also moneywise. Just got home from a gig. We did quite a few Stones tunes tonight actually. YCAGWYW, Satisfaction, Dead Flowers, Let it Bleed and Paint it black.
People always love paint it black by the way. Also very nice to play. Kind of hypnotizing.
