Hello fellow Stonians! I need to call the Official Fanclub, as I haven't got my membership money back. I asked for a refund a long time ago, and now I'm in need of the extra money. = ) So if anyone out there got the number and time to post it, I'd be more than happy. Thank You.
I have the same problem as MadMax because I took out membership and my card was debited within 2 days. I didn't use the password and therefore cancelled. The terms stated I would be refunded within 30 days but it's now weeks passed this time.

Thank God IORR is different from Rollingstones.com... They've ripped us off. I'm trying to get money for two unused memberships back - and it ought not to be a problem, since they've not managed to send me either the cap og the DVD for any of the memberships. (I bought them in March - to get access to good tickets - but that didn't work - as several people have pointed out). There ought to have been enough time to pay us back, or at least - send us the stuff we've paid for. A renewal of any of my RS.com memberships is totally out of question. The final trick they've playd on me was to charge me 240 EUROS for tickets with a face value of 80 EUROS, saying they came with a special souvernir not on sale anywhere else - and a laminate. None of the extras were delivered. And I've been stupid enough to buy hot ticket packages all over Europe... But I'll give them hell. Since they're based in the US, there's a tradition for running to a greedy lawyer whenever you're treated unfair. I have that feeling right now. It's going to cost them. Good luck with getting your money back - everyone!
I just called ultrastar and was told they were simply middlemen and had nothing to do with the fanclub. They were also unwilling to give me a number to contact the fan club directly.
Correct. Ultrastar is just handling the RS.com web site technically. I got my posters from Memphis I remember. They use lots of agents for different stuff.
bummer - sorry it didn't help. that's different from what's happened in the past - i know a bunch of people who reported getting excellent help by phoning ultrastar with various difficulties with the fan club (presale codes not working, refunds not coming through, stuff like that) but that was a year and more ago. unfortunate change

Just like any oteher criminal/terrorist organisation. They work with cells :p
...plus, you can't use your rs.com membership to get tickets to the shows you really want, i.e. Beacon and you can get equal or better seats to stadium & arena shows via public sales... although I did use to gaurantee tickets for the sold out tour opener in Boston, so that was good.
I agree with everything you wrote and the worst thing is that nobody seems to be responsible and it is only a e-mail company. However last year I was refunded all my membership for the European shows I had one to. And it came in days without any delay. This year they first might check if the number is used etc. This is a bit different. But it is totally unfair. I remember I bought hottickets for Calgary and never received any of those gifts we should get. But I received 8 DVDs and 8 posters last year. This year so far NOTHING!
