I read a feature on her the other day which stated that she turned down Mick's offer to sing HTW and chose Aint Too Proud To Beg instead.

It was fun, but a pity she didnt rehearse it.

Got tickets in the post a few days ago to see her when she plays here in December.

I have a feeling the lovely Miss Winehouse will not be attending the German shows. A real shame as I was really looking forward to her act. We'll now probably get some third rate German Euro-pop group!

Wil she be a Warm up act: Amy Winehouse?

Wil (or maybe better: can) Amy Winehouse be the warm up for Hamburg and Dusseldorf shows?

She did not show up at several concerts this year (i.e North Sea Jazz Festival and Pink pop festival, both in Holland).

I hope she will survive....

I´ve discover her not a long ago.... and guauauu.... she´s fantastic!!! Maybe not so rocker how I´ll like... but ufff.... what voice!! A pity than I can´t go to Germany and catch her with the Stones...

You never know with her. When she's supposed to be onstage in Germany, she'll probably be propped up in a bar in Camden! Very unreliable.

She is rapidly becoming the female Pete Doherty

This will be the first Stones warm-up act in years that´ll really get me on my feet! (though seated venue) --

IF she turns up...

Listen to "Rehab" and "You know I am No Good" on youtube or something and imagine this girl just one hour before the Stones are entering stage... the right starter for me!

And I´m not that much into new and young acts, really not!

Very excited about this. I love her voice and think she is truly a talented girl. Also very easy on the eyes! Definitely the right opener for a change.

The guy Doherty don´t have 1 % of talent than Amy.... Or are you talking abbout the "way of life"???

So what, she likes a drink? She's missed a few gigs. Nobody knows why. Only speculation. I'm sure she'll be in Germany!

Is that right? Until she writes songs as good as Time For Heroes, For Lovers or Albion, she'll be second rate in comparision imo.

Pete Doherty gets a bad rap for one reason. He's an idiot. Talented (he's proven it), but because of drugs, bizzare behaviour and Kate Moss, many forget and even more have no idea, the greatness he produced in the begining.

Don't get me wrong. I don't dislike Amy Winheouse, but unless she bucks up her ideas, people will forget her music and only remember her antics. She has the advantage over Doherty in the sense that shes already recognised as having something specal, where as Doherty was alittle more underground in that sense. Those who knew where to look, found another hero in waiting. Sadly, he's let everyone down in recent times and I don't think things will get better.

There, lecture over!

Amy has allegedly cancelled all the performances in the next few days after getting examined by a doctor. A case of bad exhaustion. Is she still the support act for the German concerts? Will we get someone else?

After todays news, it's official. She is the female Pete Doherty. Talented, but seriously flawed.

I did buy the Back To Black album and I must say I enjoy it very much: classic feeling (even copying melodies: ain't no mountain high enough) and a beautiful voice.

I have to wonder. Just how many here would be listening to Amy Winehouse if she hadn't of appeared at The Isle Of Wight with the Stones?
