Anyone see this last night?, awesome performance. That should teach any young wanna be musicians watching, what real rock n roll is like.

Wasnt pleased about the stupid Stones comment from Ross though.

They were brilliant.

You 'werent pleased'? Hardly offensive.

I caught it too. I absoloutley can't stand that Russel Brand though. Same goes for Johnaton Ross too. A terrible interviewer and a waste of our money.

Your right Gazza not offensive, but very tired. Who the @#$%& are Scooch anyway?

Theyre actually the UK entry for Eurovision..LOL (I had to look it up, honest)

Which is actually the point of his joke. The Stooges were a lot rawer than the Stones would be.

Great interview. Usually a live performance on a TV chat show loses something, but that was like watching a bomb being detonated. Fantastic.

Look forward to seeing them on BBC4 at Glastonbury later this evening

OK, i must admit I feel a bit Victor Meldrum these days, Eurovision I cant handle anymore, the Greek guys in the robot gear a few years back were the last straw, I appreciate irony like the next guy, but three hours of musical turds is just too much.
Yes it was actually a funny interview, I got the feeling Iggy was squirming at times, as he's quite schizo (sophisticate one minute, savage the next) while Scott and Ron are still Michigan beer monsters, he got a bit worried when Ron started to dominate the interview.I was surprised that Johnathan Ross seemed a bit of a fan, I always saw him as more a Duran Duran man myself.
Also I thought Russell Brand was actually pretty cool, he's interesting, will he get eaten by the celebrity monster he's becoming or not?

Jonathan Ross has said on many occasions that he doesn't like the stones. I heard him on the radio talking about how he left a London club gig of the stones after the support band because he didn't want to see them. What a waste of a stones club show ticket - it could have gone to one of the many less well-off fans who would have given their right leg to get in (me included) instead of giving it to the already rich and ungrateful Jonathan Ross for free. I was fuming after that comment and, in comparison, the other nights comment was not too offensive.

The gig at Glastonbury is up to watch on the BBC site!!

Its totally brilliant, shows how you can play great rock n roll with only one guitar and no army of sidemen smiling smiley
In one way they are like the Stones, the whole band are superb, Mike Watt is perfect for the bass role, him and Scott Asheton make what must be one of the all time greatest rythm sections, monster.

Breathtaking at Glastonbury last night. Watched it twice already.

Absolute chaos when the crowd invaded the stage. I know Iggy does that thing every show, but while you can away with it in a theatre, its utter insanity in a crowd of about 100,000. Hilarious stuff.

The IGG is THE man, he wipes the floor with anyone and everyone for passion, craziness and vibe, he is out there and on the edge unlike any other live nad I have seen (even if it is all an act!).

As much as I adore the Stones and they are entertaining live, they just ain't as incendiary as The Stooges.
