New 4 disc DVD. Not the best

I got the new DVD set last night, i put the first one in from Texas. It was terrible. It sounded like Mick was singing in a closet. Absolutley no audience sound at all. It really sounded like a studio version. It didnt have that raw sound to it at all. The second DVD in the box was good. Tonight i will watch the other two. Did anyone else get it? What did you think?

I thought they sounded awesome. Make sure you've got the audio settings on what you need; I noticed mine defaulted to 5.1 so I had to manually change it to 2.0.; it didn't sound right prior to me making the change.

Just came back from Best Buy...watching Austin...She's So Cold.

52 inch flat screen with quality 5.1 surround.....so far so good.
I am impressed. I don't know if I'm alone in this..but camera edits etc...
remind me of the LET'S SPEND THE NIGHT movie.......similar energy to me. (?)

IORR............but I like it!

Dude, what kind of surround set up do you have? I have put a lot of cash-a-roo into mine. Top of the line KLIPSCH surround sound speaker set up with a top notch Denon 7.1. Always use DTS 5.1 since it's NOT COMPRESSED like Dolby Digital 5.1. The DVD's ALL sound like 10's on a scale from 1 to 10 (ten being best) Jagger ain't in no closet, he's on stage, right in the center, belting it out like there's no tomorrow - PERFECT MIX !!! Check your settings as Glam suggested... something is Wack in stonesriff land...

Hey Helter Skelter I agree with you. The DVD is awsome in 5.1 which I have. hey Stonesriff, in the main menu there is a "setup" option. Make sure it is on dolby stereo for you. And if that doesn't work well it's your lose.

Good point My Stones, if stoneriff is using a stereo - 2.0 set up and has it on a 5.1 he's gonna lose most of Jagger's vocals. I think it always goes back automatically to DOLBY DIGITAL 5.1 if I'm not mistaken....

I actually preferred the Dolby Digital mix more than the DTS
