Listening to the first clip I once again got confused.
HTW has 4 chords. Somehow someone (KR?) manages to add another two, which don't quite fit it. Strange. No bashing intended here, but number of mistakes is alarmingly increasing. I don't think that there will be a live broadcast of any of the shows this time, the KRisk is, sadly, too high.

Something is definitely not as it should. It sounds horrible...

Can you not just keep quiet for one day?
I mean, I'm critical as well, but this is starting to become extremely annoying.

Eventually people will turn away from the board. If your really that disatisfied then go else where. A few spoil it for the masses......

Hey Lorenz, I didn't post anything yesterday! Nor did I post anything from Wednesday to Saturday last week.

Don't get me wrong, I love the band, and I love KR as well. And I'm not one of those who think a band should stop because they are getting too old.

I only find this extremely worrying. Keith looks fine and healthy on the pictures, but his playing is the worst I ever heard him play.

If you look at the comments in the IOW thread there are almost only positive posts about the concert.

Take it from those who were there that you are worrying for nothing. A two-minute clip from a total of 1.5 hours does not a show make.

Okay, you are right, these clips are too short to judge. But I watched a lot of clips of the past shows and even have listend to some audio a friend of mine recorded in Nijmegen.

Of course it can be a great night even if Keiths is "off". I'm just really in fear that something is really wrong with Keith.

Just wait and see... have you seen one of the first gigs in Europe this year?

It seems very difficult to check something on these poor quality youtube videos... don't you think so ? I am also worried about KR... but the more I think about it... the more I feel it is just a rumour, started from the first night (werchter) were he was a little bit off...

I am waiting for my first show this year (Paris) to have a clear idea... but I am not worried, he's still a great musician and a legend guitarist.


By the way.. try this "brown sugar accapella (1972)" on Youtube with a young KR backstage during US 72 tour (taken from "c**r blues" I think...). Very funny... a piece of history (as "c**r blues" will be).
