How about another rare one (not one of my favs AT ALL but never mentioned) TERRIFYING (is that it? off STEEL WHEELS) I know they played it in ATLANTIC CITY for the '89 pay per view instead of MIXED EMOTIONS, ONE HIT and DEAD FLOWERS.... I'll take those last 3 instead....Have them on my TORONTO '89 tape, MUCH BETTER

You were there!!! Even more hhrraarrruuuummmpppfffss as I was meant to go but somehow it did not pan out. That must have been a very heartfelt performance?
Did see the wall come down in Berlin late 1989, though

Melody was played in Europe in 1999 (Shepherds Bush) but was also played at the el Mocambo in 1977

Indeed correct; was just on top of my head. Brand New Car has indeed played once in the the US (2002) and Melody was indeed at El Mocambo. No doubt there are many more examples. Just shows that there a lot of songs which only are played on one continent. Waiting On A Friend was always one of them until Belgium. Difference between the rest of the songs is that this was a song also known by the 'big' audience. Will post some tour statistics of the current tour soon. HM

It isnt

'Brand New Car' was played on some Voodoo Lounge US shows, surely

I think there were a few occasions on that tour where they fixed the webchoice to make it look like the song that they wanted to play won - or just dropped it altogether
if I recall right, wasnt it announced as the webchoice winner on the St Louis PPV show? The song that got the most votes for that show as I remember it was Star Star, due to a lot of fans on message boards conspiring together to get an obscene song played live on TV. Then they mysteriously announced WOAf as the winner at the show itself, which was very convenient as Josh Redman just 'happened' to be there to guest on saxophone on it!
