Enough to make some folk around here explode with rage.

I think it's quite good though.

I think I've bust a button on my trousers....

I watched this the first time it was broadcast...boy did he throw a monkey wrench into their song!

I think this was one of the last shows of the Rattle and Hum tour...the one where Bono knew U-2 was so overexposed...he told the audience...we have to go a way for a long while...

Always a funny thing when Keith is guesting as a solo guitarist. I don´t think he´s comfortable with that role...

It wasnt

It was a benefit show at the Dominion Theatre in London called "Smile Jamaica" for victims of the recent hurricane which had devastated the island. Took place on 16/10/88

U2 had just released Rattle & Hum a week or so earlier, and Keith was in town to do some promotional work for "Talk is Cheap". U2 played 4 songs off the new album, Keith coming out for the last two - When Love Comes To Town and Love Rescue Me (the latter also featured Ziggy Marley). The last track was actually officially released as a bonus track on the 12' version of the 'Angel of Harlem' single.

Channel 4 in the UK broadcast the show "live". I remember watching it - it was a great surprise when Bono shouted "Where's my mate Keith Richards?" and out he came.

Havent watched that in ages. Loved it,

A lot of people on here may not know that Keith and Ronnie recorded a song with Bono in the studio called Silver And Gold, which was used on the Sun City compilation album that Little Steven put together in 1985. There's a relatively strong bond between the Stones and U2 members.

Keith looked cool as @#$%&. Always loved this. He made U2 look stiff. Great playing from the riffmaster !

Ahhh.... that was back in the days when U2 was great!! On an opposite note, Bono appeared on stage at the Aragon in Chicago/September 2003. I remember we were right up at the stage on Keith's side and all of a sudden Bono appears and joins them during 'Going to a Go-Go'. Would love to see a clip of that if anyone has one!! Dr. John and Shemekia Copeland opened for them. I think Dr. John may have come back on and done a song with them later.

During IORR. He ruins the song, unfortunately...
