OT - The Who ticket fiasco

I still have not received my tickets for the Who at the Rose Bowl, Southampton on Saturday so I called ticketmaster. Apparently there was some problem with getting tickets out on time so I have to go and collect from the box office. What a pain in the arse. Hopefully they'll refund my postage costs!

As I have been maintaining for years and years ... Ticketmaster UK are the world's most useless ticket agency when it comes to ticket despatch. Here they go proving it again for the 400 millionth time.

I can't get no ................. no no no !!

Another fine mess.....Rod Stewart tickets Ipswich UK
ROD fans could be in for a shock when they arrive for his Portman Road concert this summer following a major administration blunder,
Ticketmaster has admitted making the mistake of mixing up seating arrangements for the concert on July 3, between “A” Block on the pitch and “A” Stand - which is the Cobbold stand at the other end of the pitch.

The error could leave some fans with restricted views despite them booking to sit elsewhere.
Ticketmaster say it is only a small number.
A spokesman for Ticketmaster said: “Our customer services department is aware that there has been a problem with a small number of tickets. We are currently investigating what has happened and we are in the process of contacting those affected to correct this.

“If anyone has any problems of this nature, they should call the Ticketmaster customer services team on 0870 153 5533.”
The problem was highlighted by the Evening Star newspaper who would like to hear from anyone who had problems,
e-mail them at

eveningstarletters@eveningstar.co.uk.

Frankly - yes. Its not a proper Stones tour unless theres a ticketmaster f*ck up.

That's a shame - mine came really quickly, but seems to be from Ticket Zone.

You might have to scrape me off the floor at the end of the tour, but it'll be really good scrapings. - Mick Jagger

I am going also and have had my ticket for a number of weeks. I bought it through SEE tickets. Ticketmaster really are dreadful and if the above post regarding the Rod Stewart concert is accurate they are also incompetent. Remember having to send tickets back for Licks at Wembley as they forgot to put the seat numbers on the tickets? They have had it too good and for too long and some competition might shake them up, however that seems unlikely as they appear to be cosy with the right people and also seem to have the pre-sales for the big tours.
